Introduction

The Family Medicine Clerkship is a 4 week clinical rotation during the third year of medical school. Students typically spend the bulk of their time with Family Physicians at their private offices, nursing homes, and hospitals. These dedicated community faculty provide students with experiences and mentorship so they can learn about primary care and the healthcare system outside of the tertiary care setting.
