Fairfax Program - Description

Fairfax is approximately 100 miles northeast of Charlottesville. The population of Fairfax County is approximately 600,000. The Fairfax Hospital is the largest hospital in Northern Virginia and serves as a tertiary care hospital in an urban community setting. It has over 800 beds and patient care is provided by all specialties. The hospital is located at 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22046.

The Electives offered in Fairfax are listed in the index. Arrangements for these electives may be made, by UVA students, with the Fairfax electives supervisor. These Electives are not available to visiting medical students throught the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
