UVa Final Exercises site: Official UVa site for information on parking (University Hall), handicapped access, remote viewing sites, etc.

Handicapped Parking? We may be able to provide some handicapped parking -- check with Ginny Atwell at the beginning of May.

Where do you park? Most students and family use the hospital parking garages since they are open and free on Sunday.

Tent Seating? Seats for family and friends are not assigned in the designated area (no tickets needed). There are enough chairs for 6 members of your family. Lawn chairs can be used outside the tent area.

Tuesday, May 13th:

Cap/Gown, tickets (3-lawn; 1-rain) pickup in Student Affairs rm 1161 (8:00 - 4:00) - (bring checkbook for picture orders)

Wednesday, May 14th:

Cap/Gown, tickets (3-lawn; 1-rain) pickup in Student Affairs rm 1161 (8:00 - 4:00) - (bring checkbook for picture orders)

Thursday, May 15th:

Cap/Gown, tickets (3-lawn; 1-rain) pickup in Student Affairs rm 1161 ((8:00 - 4:00) - (bring checkbook for picture orders)

Friday, May 16th:

	Cap/Gown, tickets (3-lawn; 1-rain) pickup in Student Affairs rm 1161 (8:00 - 12:00) - (bring checkbook for picture orders)
	2:45 Hooding Practice at tent (in grassy area outside old Med School)
	3:30 Baccalaureate Service at Chapel

Saturday, May 17th:

Class Movie at Newcomb Hall Theater at 3:00 pm - afterward reception at Medical Alumni House on 1111 West Main Street (5:00 - 7:00)

Sunday, May 18th:

	8:50 Class Picture in front of Old Med School (wear gown, but not cap)
	9:15 Follow Marshals to north portico of Rotunda
	Lawn Ceremony (lasts until approximately 12:15) -- see "real time" streaming video as it happens!
	Follow Marshals at the end of the Lawn Ceremony
	Diploma Ceremony at tent near Hospital Drive below Brooks Hall (approximately 12:30 - 2:00)
	Return Hood/Gown to steps of Old Med School by 2:30 (get name checked off list) -- you can keep your cap and tassel

Severe Weather Site: If the forecast is rain or severe weather on Sunday, President Casteen will decide by 8:00 am whether the Lawn Cermony will be held and if the Diploma Ceremony will be moved to Old Cabell Hall. To see if the Lawn Ceremony is cancelled call the Information Hotline at 982-2908 or 924-SNOW or 243-SNOW. If the Lawn Ceremony is cancelled because of severe weather then the Diploma Ceremony will be held at Old Cabell Halll at 10:00 am. Rain site ticket will be required for guest admission with seating to start at 9:15 am (1 ticket admits 5 people). Students report to the Old Med School Auditorium at 8:55 am for class picture and line-up.

Tune in online with real-time streaming video of graduation ceremonies on the Lawn from 9:30 - noon.
