Results of the 1998 Match

 

 

The University of Virginia Class of 1998 matched to many of the most prestigious training programs in the country. Of 130 who participated in the National Residency Matching Program, 76 or 58% received their first program choice; and 111, or 85% received one of their top three choices.

Sixteen graduates will be doing all or part of their residency program at the University of Virginia. Graduates received positions in a diverse group of residency programs.
