Electronic
Residency
Application
Service

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has developed
ERAS (Electronic
Residency Application Service) to transmit residency applications,
letters of recommendation, MSPE (Medical School Performance
Evaluation), transcripts, and other supporting credentials to
residency program directors using the Internet.
ERAS will be available for applicants applying for GME-1
and GME-2 positions in:
- Anesthesiology
- Dermatology
- Emergency Medicine
- Family Practice
- General Surgery
- Internal Medicine (Categorical or General)
- Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine
- Internal Med/Family Practice
- Internal Med/Pediatrics
- Internal Medicine/PM&R
- Neurology
- Nuclear Medicine
- Obstetrics-Gynecology
- Orthopaedic Surgery
- Otolaryngology
- Radiology (Diagnostic)
- Radiology (Oncology)
- Plastic Surgery (Integrated PGY-1)
- Pathology
- Pediatrics
- Physical Medicine & Rehab (Physiatry)
- Psychiatry
- Psychiatry/Pediatrics (Child Psychiatry)
- Transitional Year
- Urology
- all Army GME-1 positions in all specialties
- all Navy GME-1 positions in all specialties
