FREIDA

FREIDA stands for Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database Access system (click on the word FREIDA to go to their web site).

You can search through the list of 7,400 programs (as well as 200 combined specialty programs) using a variety of criteria to isolate the exact information they need from FREIDA's nearly 300 data elements.

For AMA student members FREIDA provides a limited mailing label service. After you have made your search selection and have viewed the results, you can save the program listings and request mailing labels at no charge for 30 or fewer programs. Choose the *view saved* button for more information (from the opening Web Page). Warning: If you order more than 30 labels from FREIDA you will be charged $50. You can order up to 100 labels. This bill goes to you.
