Food Service

Most medical students either cook for themselves or dine out in one of Charlottesville's many eating establishments. The student who would rather have the convenience of prepared food can subscribe to the University Food Service which operates dining facilities at Observatory Hill (Alderman Road) and Newcomb Hall (central to Grounds) as well as numerous snack/deli type places. A variety of meal plans are offered which allow the student to choose the number of meals they wish as well as place extra money on their account for the a la carte facilities (see UVa Dining or Meal Plan Info).
