Anterior Inferior Dislocation
  • As indicated before, anterior dislocation of the shoulder is common.
  • In most cases of anterior dislocation, the humeral head lies anterior and inferior to the glenoid. Sometimes this positioning can be extreme and the dislocation is termed an anterior inferior dislocation.
