Course Description: This Pediatric Neurology externship
provides experience with both out-patients and hospitalized children
with neurologic disease. Research activities are
possible. The extern will work under the supervision of neurology
residents and an attending pediatric neurologist. There is no night or weekend
call. There are weekend rounds.
1. To be able to diagnose and manage common neurological diseases of childhood
including seizures and epilepsy, headaches, and stroke.
