How do I apply for Step 1?

bulletWhen you apply on-line you are all considered in the class of 2019 (grad date: 05/2019) even if you are planning a dual degree (MD/PhD). You all enrolled in August. Select the eligibility period that includes January and February.

bulletYou need to have a current 2" x 2" color passport photo taken with a light background (not a digital photo taken by a friend or selfie) You can go to Kinko's on Barracks Road (next to Old Navy) to have your passport photo taken.

bullet Print the form from the NBME website and glue the picture on that application form (no tape)...we have glue sticks in our office for you to use.

bullet Follow the directions carefully (use black ink). Use your full legal name (should be on your passport or driver's license).

bullet Bring the application form to Student Affairs (3rd floor MEB) and sign in the presence of one of the staff (Alane or Katherine) by November 7th
