Course Description: Students will participate in an educational experience that enhances their skills as medical detectives. The students will participate in outpatient experinece in the Rheumatology clinic and Sports Medicine clinic. The students will evaluate patients and participate in patient education and have opportunity to participate in doing procedures. The students will participate in Rheumatology Grand Rounds and have opportunities to present in the Rheumatology Fellow/Student's Conference. Optional activities include participating in the Inpatient Consultation Service where they will evaluate new consults and present them to the Attending Physician. The students will learn about ongoing research in the Division by interacting with faculty. Each student's schedule will be designed to address their specific interest in Rheumatology and Immunology.
